About the founder

Originally from Mississippi, I moved to California in 2002 when I joined the Marine Corps. I served in California from 2002 to 2006 in various commands until I completed my contract in the summer of 06. I tried moving back to my hometown and just couldn't find any work there, causing me to end up Tennessee. My wife at the time, then, decided to join the Marines and we head back to Cali. During this time, my profession was centered around systems administration. Things like email, websites, hardware repair and upgrades, operating systems, etc. I eventually made the transition to Microsoft SharePoint and started consulting in a small firm called Hershey Technologies. Hands down best job I ever had. During that time, I paid attention to how a consulting business is ran. My whole life I have been a sponge to information and as a neurodivergent, it came easily. I was able, and am able to this day, to pick up any skill that is needed to get the job done very quickly. Any friend of mine can confirm this story. 

In June of 2017, I incorporated SkazPro as a way to become an independent contractor specifically for Microsoft Consulting. This would include Office 365 and SharePoint. I did pretty well, gained a couple of clients that kept me busy. Until it became too much.

In 2020, the world was hit with Covid. In my home, cancer came right behind it. My 2nd wife was diagnosed with cancer in the summer and passed in the winter. During that time, I had 3 boys to take care of and could not keep up with running a business, so I let it go. I did what I believed a father and husband should do and decided to get a normal job to keep the bills (and insurance) at bay and spend the rest of the time keeping the family going. 

In 2021, I decided to move from California to Wyoming because my oldest son (1st marriage) was there and really needed my help. So, we packed up and moved. After getting settled here and learning how to navigate the snow, wind, hail, etc. I got married for the 3rd time. Now we have 4 boys who could not me any more different. 2 are neurodivergent in different ways, 1 is super smart and kind, and 1 is a short funny firecracker. Once I got my bearings, my wife encouraged me to get SkazPro going again. 

I restarted my company here in Wyoming and have a different vision than I had before. My goal is to become "Cheyenne's IT Department" and provide any and all services to help local businesses gain access to the IT Services the rest of the country has. Kind of like bringing Enterprise IT skills and experience to the little guy.
