About the founder

I'm originally from Mississippi. In 2002, I joined the United States Marine Corps and moved to California, serving until 2006. After leaving the Marines, work eventually brought me back west. I built my career in systems administration—email, websites, hardware, operating systems, and everything in between—before moving into Microsoft SharePoint consulting with Hershey Technologies. That experience taught me how strong consulting businesses work and how much trust matters. As a neurodivergent problem-solver, I learn new systems quickly and stay with a problem until the job is done.

In 2017, I started SkazPro as an independent Microsoft consulting company focused on Office 365 and SharePoint. The work grew, I gained steady clients, and I learned what small businesses need from a technology partner: plain answers, reliable follow-through, and solutions built around the business—not the other way around.

In 2020, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and passed away later that year. I stepped back from the business to care for my family, keep the bills and insurance covered, and be present for my boys. It was the right decision, even though it meant putting SkazPro on hold.

In 2021, my family moved to Wyoming to be closer to my oldest son. Cheyenne became home. We learned the snow, wind, and hail, put down roots, and became part of the same community and schools as the families and businesses I now serve. Once we were settled, my wife encouraged me to bring SkazPro back.

I restarted SkazPro with a bigger goal: become “Cheyenne’s IT Department.” Local businesses deserve the same quality of IT, communications, automation, and custom development that large companies can access—without the runaround or a faceless support desk. For clients outside Wyoming, that same approach means big-firm capability with direct, accountable support.

Cheyenne is home, and giving back matters to me. I grew up knowing what it feels like to need help, and I see young people in our community facing many of the same challenges. I don't believe community work needs a spotlight. I would rather show up, help where I can, and let SkazPro's actions speak for themselves.
